1. Focus on Your Spiritual Growth
When the new year pops in, one of the most common new changes that people make is focusing more on their religious or spiritual growth. If this is something that you are considering, I LOVE IT! Women who focus on things that better themselves radiate confidence, and security.
One of the best ways to focus on your connection with your spirituality is to download apps that you can set daily reminders for yourself to check in.
Diving nose first into your faith or spirituality can really ground you as you enter motherhood. Think of it as a giant spiritual hug when you hit a moment of self-doubt in motherhood. Your spirituality and faith can really make you feel supported and empowered.
The best app on the market right now for christian entering motherhood is the Bible app by Youverse.

2. Get rid of limiting beliefs
Listen, I’m not going to give you any B.S. if you are looking to start a new chapter in life then you need to focus on not self-sabotaging the great things that come into your life.
You’re probably thinking of all the ways you are possibly self-sabotaging right now… the thing is, 90% of the time it’s so subconscious that you would never even notice it. But, in just a moment I will go into some of the ways you are displaying limited beliefs.
As a result, one of the major reasons that you are feeling stifled or stuck in life is because you have not done the work to get rid of the limitings beliefs that are holding you back.
Here are the limiting beliefs to get rid of to start a new chapter in life:
- “I can’t pursue career goals or hobbies any more”
- “Wow, I’m not doing as much for my child as other moms”
- “My life is over now that I am a mom”
- “I must do everything on my own or I’m not a good mom.”
3. Work on inner child trauma
If you are wondering what is inner child trauma, it refers to the concept of childhood emotional and mental wounds that surface in adulthood. These wounds can often be held from childhood abuse, abandonment, neglect or and childhood trauma that has not been healed.
If you are looking to start a new chapter in life, as a certified self-care coach I recommend you invest your time in self-reflection questions to reveal any possible issues you face subconsciously.
