How Can I Stop Procrastinating In My Leveling Up Journey?

    1. Establish SMART Goals

As a woman on her level up journey, if you are truly seeking to let go of procrastination, it is recommended to set specific, measurable, and achievable goals.

    Otherwise known as, SMART goals.

    You’re probably wondering, “why?”

Well, it’s simple girlie…When you have a clear idea of what you want to accomplish, it becomes easier to stay focused and motivated. Additionally, breaking down large goals into smaller, more manageable tasks can help make the process feel less overwhelming.

For example, if your goal is to write a book, you can break it down into smaller tasks such as outlining the plot, writing a certain number of pages per day, or researching and gathering information.

    Does that make sense?

What I mean is, by breaking down your goal into smaller tasks, you can create a sense of accomplishment and maintain momentum toward achieving your goal.

If this is something you already do, then GIRL keep kicking butt! Sounds like you are already on the best path for your leveling up journey!

    2. Manage your time well in your leveling up journey

Another technique that can be helpful in breaking the cycle of procrastination in your leveling up journey is time management.

Listen, I think as women we know all about running behind…

Think of all the time you’ve been late because you couldn’t find something cute to wear, or your curling iron broke.

As a woman on her leveling up journey, we are saying goodbye to those terrible days because by creating a schedule and sticking to it, you can ensure that you are using your time effectively and staying on track towards achieving your goals.

Mt favorite product that helps me solve the the problem of time management in my life is the Luxury Self-care planner by MomAgenda.

The momAgenda has truly been a favorite for many woman who seek to stick to plans and follow through while in their season in leveling up!

If your still not sold on the idea of writing it down, consider that having an agenda allows you to write your due dates and deadlines for your leveling up journey.

Simply speaking, setting deadlines can help to create a sense of urgency and motivate you to take action. For instance, The Pomodoro technique is one popular time management method that can be helpful in this regard.

It involves breaking down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. This can help you stay focused and motivated, and can also help prevent burnout.

    3. Disappear and come back better: leveling up journey

Another way to break the cycle of procrastination in your leveling up journey is to change your environment. That means that, sometimes, you have to remove yourself from people who distract you and hold you back from accomplishing your goals. If you’re not getting things done at home with your spouse or kids, simply work from a coffee shop or a nice park. Personally, the coffee shop is the best place to work (especially in the morning). I thrive in the atmosphere for business working people, and corporate meetings taking place.

With all that said, surrounding yourself with positive and supportive people can also help to keep you motivated.

Simply put, you are not isolating yourself. You are nurturing your dreams and goals! It will all be so rewarding in the future.

Even changing the way your environment is set up can help you to be more productive. For example, working in a quiet room or turning off your phone can help you to focus better.

Honestly, I recommend creating a work area that is free from distractions and conducive to focus. This little simple task can be super helpful in this regard.
